They tend to be unapologetic promoters of their own agendas. Rats are energetic and adaptable. The rats natural charm make them appealing friends, but they are very selective when choosing friends. They are highly exclusive and often only have a few very close friends.
Behind the charm, rats can be very obstinate and controlling. They like to have things their way at any cost. The rat is able to control their emotions, but use them as a tool to manipulate others. Rats are masters of mind games, and can be cruel if the need arises. Quick-tempered and aggressive, they will happily exact revenge on anyone who hurts them. Rats must learn to relax, and can be very obsessed with detail.
Traditionally, Rats should avoid Horses, and are most compatible with Monkeys, Oxen, and Dragons.
